Spring break part 3

After Sea World, the girls went swimming again on the roof.

Then they took showers and snuggled with Dar in her room.
They got popcorn and drinks from the hotel (free!) and loved every minute. Tony and I stayed in our room while Josie slept.
The next morning, we packed up before breakfast. Josie had fun trying on Jillian's hat.

We ate a yummy breakfast at the hotel and then we checked out and headed to the River Center Mall.
Josie LOVED this ride. How funny...it was just like the carousel, but much smaller.

She didn't like this one though...it rocked back and forth.
There was a fun play area in the mall
The girls shopped and had fun looking at everything...especially the PURPLE store. :)
We went in the Disney store too!
Cheese!
Awwww...Daddy and Jo
River Walk pic with Jilly
Proudly wearing her hat...so cute!
We ate at Chili's on the River Walk

After lunch, we headed home. We had SUCH a fun time!!! Josie slept about 45 minutes on the way home...we stopped at Buc-ees again and had a great trip home. So sad that it ended so quickly, but I think everyone was super tired! I think we all woke up after 8am the next morning!

The rest of spring break has been relaxing. The kids have played, we have been working on school projects (so we don't have to do them on the weekend!!), the girls had a play date and Tony and I had a night out too!!
St. Patrick's Day selfie

Josie has enjoyed all the family time!

The twins had 2 friends over. Jillian's little friend was out of town.

Saturday night we had a babysitter come and Tony and I got to eat out at a Steakhouse and just enjoy being out together!
Sunday after church, the twins had a birthday party to attend at the American Girl Store.
Can't believe our break is over, but it was sooo much fun!

Spring Break part 2

Everyone slept great and the next morning we headed to breakfast. There was a huge breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage, muffins, fruit, hash browns and more!!!

Little bit enjoyed her breakfast.
We headed out to Sea World that morning. The weather completely changed and it was dreary and cold. It was misting off and on.

At the gate! Brrrr!

We arrived a bit early, so we had to wait just a few minutes. We took this time to snap pictures!

Group shot before we went in!
Since the weather wasn't that great the park was empty! I took Josie on the carousel and the big kids went on a mini-roller coaster.

Josie looks like she is having fun, but when the ride started she didn't like it. She ended up crying and we had to leave the ride early.
Meanwhile, everyone else was on the Shamu Express

Josie enjoyed watching the ride
Next ride! This one rocked back and forth and twisted

After all the smaller rides, there was an opportunity to get a picture with the Sesame Street characters. I really wish Josie could have spent more time with them. She was completely in awe of the characters.
Seeing Big Bird!
Hi Cookie!
It's Elmo!!
So cute!!!
She wanted to touch them all!

Next up: The Steel Eel. Jillian was determined to ride a BIG roller coaster. Uncle Lee rode with her.

 So high!!

She ended up not liking it. Maybe she should have tried a different one...or maybe she can try again when she is older. She was a good sport about it though.

We headed for the Whale show next...and stopped to feed the birds along the way.

Beautiful!

Josie enjoyed the show, but didn't like it very much when the whales "splashed".  It was quite loud.
More pictures!
We were all getting hungry at this point and so we headed for lunch.
We all had pizza, pasta and salad buffet for lunch and then we were ready to go again!
Smile!
Kennedy really wanted to ride Journey to Atlantis so Tony went with her on this one.

You get a little wet....depending on where you are sitting. Kennedy loved it and Tony talked me into going with him for round 2.
The big kids and Tony went to ride another water boat ride, while Dar, Lee and I took Josie to the Bay of Play area again.

She was in heaven going down the slide for about an hour!

We stopped for snacks and drinks and then we headed to the gift shop.
These Eels caught the twins' eyes right away.  So funny!
Jillian bought a cute dolphin hat and wore it proudly the rest of the day and the whole day after.
Josie got 2 new Sesame street characters to add to her collection....Snuffy and Grover.
One last photo opp with Shamu
Bye Sea World! We had a blast!
(Oh! and the weather warmed up by the afternoon and it was beautiful!!)
