Week 9- Quarantine and last week of school!

We finally made it!! The last week of school was pretty easy for everyone, but busy at the same time.

Jillian made a little scarf for Trixie...she also dressed her up in her lobster costume. Poor dog...but she is such a good sport letting the kids do whatever with her. :)
Kennedy practiced her braiding on me one day. :)
Speaking of hair....Josie's hair is as wild as ever.
Jillian plays outside a lot...here she is doing one of her tricks on the swing
Josie has gotten really good at memory!!

On the last day of school, I told Jillian to show me a last day of school jump. Here are a few of them! (and Tony's too)
This one screams "I'm done with school!"

Josie had her preschool pick up parade at the same time we had our principal's retirement parade. So, Grandma and Pa took Josie to see Ms. Cynthia and pick up her end of year supplies.
It's a little strange to see your teacher in gloves and a mask. :(
 Ms. Casey
She took off her mask for her. :)
She got a new sleep shirt! :)
FBCA said goodbye to Ms. Meyer. We will have a new principal next year.
Reaching out to one of my students (Sutton). I miss my kids!
 Our "social distance" group picture
On Saturday, Jillian's dance studio had portraits and they filmed their dance for their recital. They all had a scheduled time to be dropped off (individually), had their picture made, and then they filmed their dance. Their recital will all be online this year. Sad.  No parents allowed inside. Very social distanced. But she loved it.
Leaving with all her dance costumes.
We had a hard week with our fish.
Basically...they all died. We obviously didn't do something right when we changed their water. Jillian's fish all died within a few hours of the clean tank. Josie's died overnight.
So....Josie got a new fish, Shelby. Her only request when Tony went to get one was that he picked a purple one for her.
Jillian opted to not get anymore right now.

Here's what else went on this week.
*FBCA had virtual field day (We just watched it)
*Josie had a sleepover with Kaitlyn (it went well!)
*Josie had a sleepover with Kennedy (not so well)
*Jillian, KK, and Kennedy all had a sleepover (went well!)
*Church at home/online
*lots of playtime and wii time
Next week the girls have to turn in their library books/computers and work to their teachers. Then school will be officially over for the summer! Woo hoo!!

Week 8- Quarantine

Another week down! Next week is the LAST week of school. Woo hoo!! We are almost there.
Here are the highlights of this week at home:

Monday morning...we had coupons for Wendy's breakfast, so Tony treated the girls. It made Monday a little easier.
Jillian had an assignment to try to copy an art piece. She did very well!
Jillian and Josie busted out the pool. It's so little...but they wanted to swim so badly.
They spent a couple of days out there!
Jillian presented her book report on Zoom. She created an 8 minute stop motion of her book. It was incredible and she was so proud. Her teacher and class loved it too.
 Josie got to see too!
 Trixie... our stuffed animal
Nail salon!! Josie and Jilly did our nails.
This week the twins did a "twin challenge". They tried to match every single day. It was fun to see how alike they are! (But at the same time, so easy for me to tell who's who. )

Not pictured:
*LOTS of videos this week for me and Jillian
*Josie is reading! She is doing great and loving it!
*zooms for all
*grading online work/yearbook for Tony
*lots of wii time (especially for J and J)
*"Just dance" on the wii kept all the girls occupied for a long time Friday night.
*lots of I Love Lucy time

I'm sure there is more, but thats all for now. On to the LAST WEEK of school.

Mother's Day 2020

Mother's Day began the night before for me this year! Jillian found a recipe for nachos and wanted to try it out...so she made us dinner! Then...Kennedy decided to make individual fruit pies from scratch. Both girls did a great job and I didn't have to lift a finger (except for dishes...ha!)

Mother's day morning brought lots of fun gifts. The girls got very creative and made me lots things.
Cards and a jar of love notes from Josie and KK!
Kaitlyn also put together a video and wrote and sang a song for me!!
Jillian made me two beautiful bracelets, a key chain (purple), a candle painted with blue nail polish and a coupon book full of wonderful things like back rubs, chores I don't have to do and more!
Kennedy painted be a beautiful painting!
 Look how cool!!!
I got a really fun card too!
But the best part is being a mother to these 4!
 Love
Tony got me some money to spend at Jane! Woo hoo! Online shopping!
(The only kind we can do in quarantine)
Restaurants are slowly opening back up. They are allowing for pick up and also delivery. A few are open at a limited capacity. For Mother's Day dinner we had some amazing mexican food. YUM!!

Happy Mother's day also to my sweet mom who I'm sad we didn't get to spend more time with....hopefully the world will open up in the next month or so and things will get back to normal.
