More fall fun!

Friday night, our church had a pumpkin patch party/trunk or treat! A cool front had just blown through, so we bundled up and headed out. I let the girls wear anything they wanted from our "dress up bin". We don't usually spend the money on costumes, because they are just as happy wearing what we have here. (and don't know the difference)

My girls and their outfits they chose...Tony joined in the fun too!!

 A quick outside picture!

Trunk or treat!!!  This was Kennedy and Kaitlyn's favorite part by far. (Jillian loved the bounce houses)

As the night went on, it got colder! Jackets came out!
There were lots of bounce houses, face painting and tons of candy! We didn't stay but an hour because it was so chilly, but the girls had fun!! (We are whimps, I know! :)

On Saturday the girls helped Tony carve our pumpkin! He read somewhere that it was easy to cut open the bottom to clean it out rather than the top...so thats why the pumpkin is laying on it's side. He did a great job and made a happy (non scary) pumpkin for all to enjoy!

 Here we go!

Kennedy and Kaitlyn had fun getting the seeds out!

 The final product! :)

Later that afternoon, we went to yet another fall festival!! (October is such a fun month!) Here's a cute picture of my twinkies! (Kennedy, Kaitlyn)

...and my little pumpkin
(who had just woken up from a nap and was in a MOOD....so I was lucky to get this!)

Whew! That sun is bright!!
The first thing they wanted to do was ride the train!

Jillian wanted to ride the ponies

We met up with Cooper after the pony rides! The games (and prizes) were a huge hit!

Dinner time!
They served hot dogs and everyone but Jillian enjoyed that. Jilly appreciated the PB&J
 I packed for her.

 A very "cheesy" picture

We also met up with the Fox's.
Their friend, Ryan, was Skippy Jon Jones. What a cutie!

After dinner was face painting time. (Kaitlyn)

 Jillian

 Kennedy got Hello Kitty

We had time for a few more rounds on the bounce house slide and then it was time to head home.
The weather was perfect and the girls were worn out. :)

Pumpkin patch

On Saturday we headed out for another pumpkin patch! This time the girls were all set to pick their own perfect pumpkin and to choose our family pumpkin to carve.

A cute photo opportunity... however, Jillian isn't looking and I'm not sure what Kennedy is doing :)

 My girls

There was a cute little car there that the girls loved. (Kaitlyn, Kennedy)

 Jillian found her pumpkin!

 Kennedy and Jillian

What do you know....we ran into Cooper!! It wasn't even planned.  They all picked their perfect pumpkin!

While Jillian was busy jumping in the bounce house, the twins and Cooper went on the hay ride with Aunt Jenn!

We did find a big pumpkin for our family to carve!  After the pumpkin patch we headed to Schlotzskeys to eat. Yum!!

Kaitlyn and Tony enjoying their lunch! The girls LOVED the pizza. They had never been here before and it was a big hit!

After lunch we headed to our good friend Matt and Leigh's house so the kids could all play together.  We stayed until 4pm and then headed home. The girls were so exhausted and all 3 fell asleep on the way back home.  What a fun and busy day...the best kind! :)

Harvest Fest

On Saturday we went to a local harvest fest. The girls were very excited to wear their "fall/pumpkin" shirts! :)

On our way!

While Tony was buying tickets, I tried to get a quick picture.

First stop: Petting zoo! Jillian was the only one that wanted to go in and she loved it!

She really loved this chicken....she was sweet, but not the prettiest chicken I've seen.

The super slide was a big hit!

Kennedy

Jilly was also excited to ride a pony!

She was so brave and proud.

I think everyone's favorite part were the games! I think they enjoyed getting the prize at the end!
Here they are digging for buried treasure.

More games (Kaitlyn)

And they also got to pick a baby pumpkin! :)

We ended our time with a yummy snow cone. It was very hot out so these were a perfect treat!

The girls had a great time! We are looking forward to lots of fun fall festivals coming up!

Kennedy's turn and Band reunion

This week was Kennedy's turn to be Star of the Week!  These pictures are going to look quite similar to Kaitlyn's....but she wanted to do the same things with her class pet "Ziggy" that Kaitlyn did with her class pet! :)

Ziggy got to go on a bike ride!

...and to Kroger!

Ziggy got to go to church too!

After church Ziggy went to Jack in the Box! :)

Kennedy worked hard on her poster. It looks similar to Kaitlyn's but she added her own special touches to make it different.

It was also "silly sock day" so she wanted me to snap a picture of her socks! Everything is so fun in Kindergarten!

This past weekend, I went to my band reunion.  I know...I was a band nerd in high school, but really, this was a huge part of my life back then.  All my friends were in band and a reunion like this is better than a class reunion!  Clements is celebrating their 30th year as a school so they invited all band members who have been in the CHS band in the past 30 years.

 The cake!

They showed us video of the past years! That was so fun to see our marching shows and see how we looked back in high school! :)

Mr. Matysiak was our band director. This is a random picture, but here he is talking to my sister in law, Jenn,  and Tony.

Here's a picture of the band hall....looks different than it did back in the day!  (Kids were invited to come too and they had a bounce house set up for them!)

Group photo! It was so great to see so many of my old friends!
