Cuties

The girls got cute outfits, sunglasses and fun Easter stuff from their Pa Pa and Ya Ya. I thought this picture was cute with Jillian looking up at Kaitlyn. Notice, Jillian is holding her sunglasses....she would take them off as soon as I tried to put them on her (same with her shoes!)


You should have seen me on the other side of the camera...making crazy faces and sounds trying to make everyone smile. It worked for Jillian, but the twins needed something funnier, I guess!

Such a big girl!
Last week, over spring break, Jillian started to crawl. It was very slow at first, but she has really picked up speed this week. She is so happy to be able to go get the toys she wants. These are some pictures from my parent's house today. Pulling up is next on her agenda. She can pull up to her knees, but not quite all the way up. She LOVES to stand though!

Dad's birthday

My dad turned 67 this week! We had a little celebration for him today. Happy Birthday dad! Notice who is opening his gifts! They just couldn't help themselves.

First haircut!

We mentioned to the twins that they might get their hair cut (just a trim) this week and they got so excited! They couldn't wait. Here is Kaitlyn...she did awesome!

9 months

Sweet baby girl is 9 months old!


She loves dogs and really loves Scooter's toys (probably because she isn't supposed to have them) She is trying to get the toy away from Scooter here...it was cute watching them play together. Scooter was so gentle with her.

Peek-a- boo!!

We had her 9 month check up and she did great!

Weight: 18 lbs 7 oz (50%)

Height : 27 1/4 in (50%)

New things this month:

*2 adorable bottom teeth! (I keep thinking those top teeth will be coming soon!)

*loves to smack her lips...when you do it back to her she loves it

*loves her musical dog at grandma's house

*very ticklish under her chin (thats not new, but I keep forgetting to put that on here)

*Recently learned how to sit herself up from laying on her tummy

*Tries to say "dog dog" It sounds like ( daw, daw). We know she is trying to say dog because she says this when she sees a dog and she signs the word at the same time.

* Signs and understands the sign for the word "eat"

* LOVES to stand.....holding on to an object or your finger. That is her favorite thing to do at the moment.

* Very close to crawling...just haven't quite figured it out yet. (but she still finds ways to move around and get what she wants)

*Waves at everyone

* Becoming very attached to mommy and not a big fan of new people at the moment (well, new people holding her, I should say)

*Working hard at pulling herself up. She can pull herself up to her knees, but not quite all the way to her feet. It won't be long!

Hanging around the house

We had a very laid back Saturday. Jillian practiced her new skill of standing. She wants to stand all the time now!


Meanwhile, the twins were going through all their dress up clothes and coming out with different outfits/shoes/etc on. Here is Kaitlyn modeling one of her outfits.



Then we went outside (it was SUCH a pretty day!) and the girls did lots of swinging! They learned last week (out of the blue) how to swing high all by themselves! No more pushing needed! Yipee!


The girls all hung out for a while on the blanket I had laid out for Jillian.



Jillian was completely fascinated with the grass! I would put her in the middle of the blanket and she would scoot herself to the edge and pick grass! She would get so mad at me when I moved her away. :)
