Ariel was at Chick-fil-a today and boy were the twins excited. I wasn't sure how they would do (they don't have the best track record with meeting characters etc) but you can tell by their smiles that they LOVED her!! Here is Kennedy with Ariel!! Kennedy also brought her own camera and got to take a picture of Ariel all by herself!
Kaitlyn brought her Ariel barbie doll to show her! Too sweet!
She gave them each a signed picture of herself!
After we ate, they got to play a little game and won free ice cream!
YUM!!!!!
We can't leave out little Jillian! She loves playing in the play area. Today she found a little boy in there (probably had just turned 2) and she loved him. She kept laying her head on him and patting him. She even kissed him!!! (On the back!) It was adorable how much she loved him! I wish I had gotten a picture of that, but I was too slow getting my camera out!

Happy Birthday, Uncle Chris!
July 24th was my brother's 35th birthday! Chris and Jenn had family over to celebrate. The first thing all the kids wanted to play with was Jenn's magnetic letters on her fridge!
Chris grilled some yummy hot dogs and hamburgers!! They were a hit!
Jillian loved playing with all of Cooper's toys!
Aunt Jenn placing all the candles on the dessert! The kids were chomping at the bit!
Uncle Chris blowing out his candles (with a little help!)
Happy Birthday Chris!

This week
Yesterday, my parents, the girls and I, all went to visit my Paw Paw in Pt Arthur. He is 93! It was a fun day trip. Tony is out of town for 4 days (Yearbook camp) so he didn't get to come this time. Jillian was not a fan of the car rides and cried a lot, but once she got there she was great! It was great to see my cousins and their kids too! Paw Paw has a little dog outside and Jillian LOVED looking at it!
Kennedy in one of Paw Paw's big rocking chairs!
Paw Paw holding one of Jillian's books trying to get her to come to him. No luck this time!
Pizza time for lunch! This was before everyone else came over.
Jillian eating lunch!
Also, this past week the twins went to another day camp....this time Veggie Tales camp at Williams Trace Baptist! They loved this camp as well and came home with lots of fun crafts! It was from 9-1 Mon-Thurs and every day when I picked them up, they could barely stay awake in the van! I loved that they had such a great time and were really excited that they got to bring back packs and a lunch there too! They felt like such big girls. I didn't get any pictures this week (I know, great mom!)

1 year pictures

I took Jillian to get her 1 year pics last week. She was really not in the mood for pictures. She wasn't crying or anything....just wanted to walk around and explore..not sit or pose. Oh well! :) Got a few good ones anyway.

4 years!
Just born! It seems like so long ago I was carrying 2 babies in my tummy! After a difficult c-section (for me), two sweet little girls were born at 12:49 pm and 12:50 pm. Kennedy came first, weighing 6 lbs 14 oz, and next came little Kaitlyn. She weighed 5 lbs 14 oz. We were overwhelmed with emotions and thankful to God that our babies were healthy and perfect.
Whew! We made it through the first year!! Our babies turned ONE! (Kaitlyn on left, Kennedy on right) We loved this age...moving from infants to toddlers!
Year two! (Kaitlyn on left, Kennedy on right!) Their close friendship was becoming more and more apparent every day.
Three!! (Again, Kaitlyn on left, Kennedy on right)And here are our 4 year old princesses!!! (Kennedy on left, Kaitlyn on right!) They got a cute birthday tutu and shirt and wanted to show it off. Kennedy promptly put on her tiara and Kaitlyn grabbed her teddy bear (not a new toy and not sure why she wanted it in the picture, but oh well!) and we went outside for a quick pic.
Our girls are very much into anything girlie....princesses, dress up, wands, crowns, shoes etc. It's almost not worth dressing them in the morning, because within 5 minutes, they will be changed into a princess dress, shoes, hat....you get the picture.
They are the best of friends and take great comfort in each other. They are each other's security blanket. We are going through a "fear" phase (a loooong phase) and they really cling together for comfort when they are scared. They have a built in best friend and a slumber party every night in their room!
They will be starting Mother's Day Out 3 day preschool at Sugar Creek Baptist Church in the fall and are very excited about starting "school". They love to draw, color, and create! They love Dora, any princess movie, Barney, Veggie Tales and anything on PBS in the mornings! They also love puzzles, games, and playing with their babies. I could go on and on, but I wanted to jot a few things down for memory's sake.
We go tomorrow for their 4 year check up! Our little girls are growing into big girls! We love you sweet Kennedy and Kaitlyn.

Pretty toes!
My mom had a fun idea for all of us to go get our toes done to celebrate the twin's birthday tomorrow. Kennedy and Kaitlyn loved picking out their colors! They both chose pink...just different shades.
They wanted to sit in the same chair together! They loved it all!!
All done!!! Kennedy is on the left and Kaitlyn is on the right! :) Thanks Grandma for a fun day and pretty toes!

Kaitlyn and Kennedy sporting their outfits too! This was taken right before their party! This year we decided to have their party on the 4th of July outside with all their friends. The plan was to to just stay out all evening doing fireworks and just having a great time!
Jillian even got a gift too!

Little one was having a blast! :)
She got to change into her swim suit too and went from the pool to the grass to walking around.....then back to the pool etc! She was busy!!!

Face painting time! (Kennedy)
Kaitlyn getting a star!
We had a wonderful birthday party and 4th of July! Our cul-de-sac stayed out late and we had a blast shooting fireworks! The twins, however, were a little fearful, so they stayed inside. ( Sigh)
Tomorrow (7th) is their official birthday. Can't believe it's been 4 years!
