October happenings

October has been a busy month! Here are the highlights.

FBCA homecoming week
 Polka Dot day

Lots of girls had the same dress! Ha!

This sweet baby had polka dots too!

 Silly sock day

That Friday was homecoming and Jillian had her 1st grade social. Lots of food and fun.
 Scarlett, Olivia, Jillian and Sydnee

The twins went to a few birthday parties....one of them was horseback riding.
 Kaitlyn
 Kennedy

 Sweet girls

YaYa sent Josie this sweet dress for Halloween. It looked darling on her.
I could just eat her up!
First grade also went on their field trip to Blessington Farms
 Jillian and Sydnee
 They had so much fun!

In 4th grade each year, there is a basketball tournament. First, the girls compete....then the boys. The class that wins gets to complete against the teachers. I was able to watch a couple of Kennedy and Kaitlyn's games. It was exciting!  Kaitlyn's game was first.

Kennedy's game was next. (She was the team captain)

Neither of the twins' teams won. :(
The next game was against each other!!! I so wanted to watch this game, but I wasn't able to. However, Tony was able to go and cheer them on.

They got to tip off against each other.
Prayer before the game.
Kennedy's team ended up winning that game in double overtime. Her class advances to the finals.

We celebrated the 50th day of school in Kindergarten. My class was so cute and we had so much fun!
I can't believe November is right around the corner. :)

15 months

This sweet baby is 15 months old.
Here is what Josie is doing at 15 months:
*Love to push toys
*Signs: where, baby, eat, more, hat, dog, shoes, sleep, mama, dada, bath, water, all done, bubbles, please, tree, shoes, apple, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some!
*Makes the sound for : frog, monkey, dog, train, elephant, horse, car
*Loves to wear shoes
*Loves music
*Loves books...especially books with sounds.
*Loves to look at pictures of people.
*Words she says: What's that, who's that, mama, dog, hi, bye bye, dada, shoes
*Identifies: hair, tongue, piggies (toes), belly button and sometimes her eyes.
She can also identify what you ask in books: "Where is the cat? Where is the car? etc.
*Understands and obeys simple commands: Go find your baby, give that to mommy, let's go upstairs and take a bath , it's time to go to sleep etc.
*Loves to climb the stairs.  She usually will only climb them when she has permission.
*Drinking whole milk and loves it
*Likes her bath
*Won't give kisses to people...only her baby dolls.  Silly girl!
*Loves to eat but only certain things: pizza, mac and cheese, grilled cheese, quesadilla, yogurt pancakes, waffles, muffins, fruit, squeeze pouches
*12-18 month clothes (mostly 18 month), size 4 diaper (5 at night) and size 5/6 shoe

 Where is your belly button???
 There it is!

Josie also loves the hedgehog. When Tony cleans the cage each weekend, she loves to "help".

 Posing with mama!

She loves eating the food that we have. The girls are sweet to share with her.
She loves the dog bed. (Sigh)
And she loves her lovey (elephant) and pink/white dog.
She sleeps with them every night. So sweet.

We usually try to keep them in her bed, but occasionally she will drag them out. Then she wants them everywhere she goes. (Even during meals!)

She enjoys church, but I haven't put her in the nursery yet. She stays in the service for a little while, but then I have to take her out to walk around. She is just so busy right now!
We love our little Jo Jo.

Pumpkin Patch

I love to take the kids to the pumpkin patch and I was super excited for Josie to experience all the fun with her sisters. They all got on their Halloween shirts and off we went.

This little cutie ready for her trip to the pumpkin patch!
 My twinkies

First group picture of the day was a cute one!
The sun was quite bright, so we couldn't really get good pics with the pumpkins.
 Holding the pumpkins
Jillian was anxious to help her.

 Found one!

 Josie liked the scarecrow.

 Picking out a pumpkin

We also went on a hayride. Josie enjoyed all bumps. She did great on the ride!

The balloon kept her entertained when she got a little antsy.

 Sweet little smile

Jillian really wanted to get her face painted.
 Cute pumpkin

Next up: sno cones. They tried to let Josie try, but she couldn't figure it out.
At the end the girls each got to choose a pumpkin.

 Kennedy's pumpkin
Kaitlyn's choice (although, I think she ended up choosing a bigger one.)

 Jillian's pumpkin

Kennedy helped pick a small one for Josie.

 Heading to the car
All done! They had a blast!!

The first thing they wanted to do was paint their pumpkins. Kennedy's is on the left and Jillian's is on the far right. I think you can figure our the other two. :)
