Preschool program

The twins had their preschool music program this past Thursday evening. I tried to snap a quick picture before we went. Of course, Jillian wanted to join in. :)

Kaitlyn, Kennedy (and their little puppies)

I took this one right before they were about to start. :)   Giggly girls.

 Big smile from Kennedy!

 Singing away!

 Sweet smile from Kaitlyn

After the little program, we were able to go to their class and look at some of their work.
Showing us their painting and plant.

Jillian thinks she belongs in this class too! (and she was dying to go on the stage and sing with them!)

Ms. Ella, their bridge teacher.

I can't believe next year they will be in Kinder. (I registered them a week ago!)
I am so thankful that we held them back one more year. They have really grown and matured this year and those fears that they have struggled with for soooo long are pretty much all gone. They are reading now (slowly, but they can do it!) and Kennedy has her first loose tooth!!!  I can NOT believe that. She is very excited about it. I'm sure Kaitlyn will have one soon. They got their teeth at the same and when they were babies and they pretty much do the same things at the same time.  My girls are really growing up!

Easter

Happy Easter! In the morning, the girls got to take a look in their Easter baskets! :)

After Easter baskets, we had a yummy breakfast and got ready for church. I feel like this year, the twins really understand what Easter is about...not about bunnies and eggs...but our risen Lord.

I took the girls outside to get pictures in their dresses, but you know how that goes. Too sunny, eyes closed, silly faces, looking away....it's soooo hard to get a good picture. Here are a few.

I got their dresses from my Kelly's Kids party that I had back in February. I love them!

My mom was so sweet and bought them all their shoes! Thanks Grandma!!

We went to the backyard to try to avoid the sun....at least I have one looking at the camera. :)

Got a cute one of the twins

We had a special service at church and all the girls did well. Jillian got a little antsy, but that's to be expected.   We had a nice Easter lunch and we had a relaxing afternoon . We even got the garage organized! (love that!)
Most of all, we celebrated that Jesus is alive!! Hallelujah! He is risen!!
Happy Easter!!

A local church had a super fun Easter egg hunt/carnival today! Yea for free fun! :)

We got there just in time for one of the Easter egg hunts!!

 Pinwheels!  (Kaitlyn)

Easter bunny picture!! This was the first year that all three girls wanted to sit with him!

(Kennedy looks so grown up here to me.)
She and Jillian picked out an Easter tattoo for their hand.

 One more of the twins!

 Bounce house fun! (Kaitlyn)

Kaitlyn and Jillian wanted sno cones!

The girls cracked confetti eggs over Daddy's head! What a trooper!

They also had free carriage rides!!

Climbing up

The big girls sat with Tony

 Jilly sat with me!

After we got off, we spotted Cooper. He was waiting for his turn to ride. Jillian saw that Cooper had popcorn and wanted some too.

They had lots of fun games. All three girls enjoyed this one! (Throwing the bean bag in the hole)

I had never seen this game before...rolling the dice! Those are some big dice.

After all that fun, it was time for another egg hunt.

After awhile, it was time to go. The girls didn't want to leave, but we knew they were getting tired. What a fun morning and I was thankful that Tony was able to be there too!

Easter at Grandma and Pa's

We spent Good Friday with my parents having our Easter celebration! The kids were really looking forward to it :)

The grandkid's Easter baskets all lined up!
(The bottom of the basket could come off and it made cute hats!)

My girls (Kaitlyn, Jillian, Kennedy)

Tearing into their baskets! Grandma and Pa got them some fun goodies!!

Kennedy and Jillian

My twinkies wanted to sit outside and read their new books! :)

Daddy and his clone (Kennedy)

Family shot! (I think we only do this once a year....we need to get better at taking family photos!

Next up! Dyeing Easter eggs! It was a little chaotic with 4 preschoolers doing this all at once!

Egg hunting!! Ready, Set, GO!!!

Cooper and Jilly found some!

After the egg hunts, we had a wonderful lunch prepared by my mom! Yum!! Thanks!!
After lunch, the kids all took their bubbles from their basket and had fun outside.
