Field Day/Last day of school

Jillian's field day had to be rescheduled due to the crazy storm that blew through and cancelled school!!!  So, the PK/K kids had field day with the "big" kids. (Just in a different area of the building)

 Ready to play!
It was still too wet and rainy to have field day outside, so most of the games were inside.

 Gracely and Jilly

 Limbo!
(Obviously, not understanding that you have to lean back! Ha!)

 More fun games!

I was able to sneak away from my class and take a few pictures of Kennedy and Kaitlyn having fun too.
 Kennedy

This was by far the most popular field day ride! It was raining, but no one cared. They just kept riding it over and over.

 In line to ride

 Kaitlyn...enjoying the rain!

After field day, 2nd grade had an ice cream party

 Kaitlyn and Scotlyn

Kaitlyn loved her teacher, Mrs. Prado. She will miss her!

Kennedy loved Mrs. Thomas!! Such great teachers!

The next day was a short day. Each grade sang a song and 4th grade "graduated" to middle school.
Kennedy is on the end in the blue dress. Kaitlyn is 2 down from her....you can barely see her profile.

Kaitlyn walking back after their song ended. They did a great job.
I now have two 3rd graders and a Kindergartner!! Woo hoo!

I'm 34 weeks now and all is well with baby Josie.  We have a scheduled c-section date for July 6. (Just one day before the twins birthday!) I'm very ready to meet this little girl!

Ear piercing!

Aunt Dar and Uncle Lee came down last weekend and as an early birthday present, Aunt Dar took the girls to get their ear's pierced! We tried this last year with the twins (with no luck), but this time, Jillian wanted to do it too. We decided to try again!

 They picked out their earrings!

Jillian, my brave girl, went first! No fear at all!

She never even flinched when they did it!

So proud! She got pink butterfly earrings!

Picture with Aunt Dar

It was a toss up as to which girl would be brave enough to go next. Kaitlyn surprised us all by volunteering! (After some coaxing)
Definitely more fear from Kaitlyn, but she did a great job!

 All done!

Kaitlyn chose light blue gemstone earrings.

Kennedy almost didn't get in the chair, but it helped to hold daddy's hand.

 Anticipating the pain
Done, but still thinking there would be pain!

Excited! We all were so happy for her! (Well...all three girls!)

Loving her earrings! Kennedy got square "diamond" studs.

Tony took videos of the girls getting them done and they loved watching it back and laughing!

All three girls and Aunt Dar.
Showing off their new bling!
Family picture on the way out!

And what do you do after ear piercing????
Ice cream!

 Yum!

Aunt Dar, Kaitlyn and Tony enjoying their treat.

 What a fun birthday experience!
The girls LOVE their new earrings!

Mother's Day/ Birthday celebrations at school

On Saturday evening, for Mother's day, we took my mom out for dinner at Chuys...always a yummy place to eat! :)

Grandma and the girls

On Sunday for Mother's Day, we went to the Olive Garden for lunch.

My love

That week at school, the girls all celebrated their summer birthdays at school.
Kaitlyn's teacher pops a balloon with confetti in it over each child's head on their birthday.
Too fun!

We made fruit kabobs for the class (with a donut hole on the top for a little extra!)

In Jillian's class she gets to wear the birthday hat!

Eating her fruit kabob!

Kennedy also got a balloon popped over her head in her class! :)

Yum!

Lots going on!

May is always such a busy month and it's just beginning!
Kennedy and Kaitlyn had their last American Heritage Girls meeting earlier this month. They have enjoyed it, but we have decided not to enroll again this year.

Kennedy, Anna Grace, Elizabeth, Skye and Kaitlyn (in the back)

Kennedy went to her friend, Kayla's, piano recital.

Jillian celebrated the 100th day of school in PK. Since she only goes 3 days a week it takes her a bit longer to get there.  She helped make her cupcake shirt with 100 "sprinkles".

This past Wednesday, my team threw me a surprise baby shower!! Oh my! I was sooo surprised!

 Lots of yummy food!

All the faculty and staff were there and it was such a fun time!

It's so much fun to open baby things!

Look how adorable! Our Kindergarten aide made this cute clothesline of clothes!

My mom and the girls were able to come and join in the fun!
Kaitlyn was the photographer for me.

A cute picture to go in Josie's room!

The cute diaper cake from my team!
The amazing PK/K team
(I'm a little over 30 weeks here!)

Today was "Pet day" at school. The 2nd graders were able to bring their pets to school and the other grade levels were able to walk around and pet all the animals. So fun!
Kennedy and Kaitlyn with Scooter!

More fun to come!
