19 months old

Josie is 19 months old now. She has developed quite the personality and she knows what she wants and when she wants it. :)
This little girl loves to be outside and she asks to swing all the time. She loves to slide, swing and pretty much just be outside.  She loves to play with her sisters too! How lucky she is to have 3 sisters that love her so much.
Josie loves to eat, but only certain things. She is a little picky. She loves fruit, applesauce and anything with cheese on it.  Especially pizza.
It seems her fear of people is increasing here lately. I can take her grocery shopping, but as soon as I enter the check out line, she bursts into tears and cries sooo hard. She hates when people she doesn't know speak to her. I know this is just a phase, but it's not my favorite. :)
She is down to only 1 nap a day now.  It's hard for her to make it until nap time, but she sleeps so well!  She still goes to bed between 6:30pm and 7:00pm. Such a great sleeper!
Her words are booming as are her signs! She can pretty much communicate what she wants....but she does get quite unhappy if she doesn't get what she wants.  Those 2's are coming!!!
She loves to give everyone hugs and kisses before bed and still sleeps with her lovey and "dog dog". So sweet.
She is so much fun at this age!!  We love her so!

Outside time is the best!
Kaitlyn put her cowboy hat on her one morning before school! Too cute!
Oh, just sitting with Clifford in a laundry basket..... :)
Josie adores stuffed animals....this must have been a dream come true for her! :)

In other "news".....
Kennedy's pig painting won first place at the rodeo!! Woo hoo!

We celebrated the 100th day of school

Just a cute picture of Jillian and some of her 1st grade friends. :)

18 months old

Josie turned 18 months old on Jan 6.
This cutie is a busy little girl with quite the personality!
Here is what she is doing at 18 months.

*loves to say "up and down" while she is doing the motion
*newest word: "sit"
*loves to eat fruit and pizza and cheese
*loves goldfish, cheerios and applesauce pouches for snack
*loves characters on tv, especially Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Clifford and Thomas the train
*Adores watching "signing time" and has moved past "Baby signing time"
*Loves books, but doesn't sit still long enough anymore to read them
*shakes her head "no" to answer questions
*nods head "yes" but it's a lot harder to do....uses her whole body.  She prefers to do a little grunt for "yes"...sounds like "eh".
*Loves stuffed animals!!!
*Pretends to talk on the phone
*Loves to be outside and play with her cozy coupe, bubbles and chalk and to swing
*Sleeps super well at night. She is still on 2 naps a day, but can do 1 if needed
*She is defiantly entering toddler mode...she wants her way. She will even hit occasionally if she is uncomfortable with someone who is too close (that she doesn't know) or if she is frustrated. (We are working on this!)
* when Josie gets a cold, she refuses to take medicine....we have to be creative . She also vomits when she has a cold (usually once) due to all the mucus and her cough. No fun.
*size 18-24 mo clothes (but is leaning towards more 24 months here recently)
*Size 6 shoes and looooves to wear shoes
*Size 5 diaper
*33.5  inches (90%)
*27 lbs (90%)

She loves to eat her goldfish/snacks in her little orange cup!
Josie got this cute outfit from Chase and Andra. Andra monogrammed her initials on her shirt. She got to wear it on one of our super cold days!!!!
My snuggle buddy!
We had 2 super cold days here recently. Look how cute she is all bundled up with big sister!!!
She loooooves the Sesame Street characters
.....and then we have spring like days in January also!!!  Enjoying an applesauce pouch!
 First selfie! :)
Having a picnic! So fun!

More Christmas!

A few days after Christmas, Dar and Lee came down for Christmas. The kids were super excited! :)

 Kennedy's presents
 Kaitlyn's presents
 Jillian's presents
Kaitlyn's reaction to getting her first tablet.
 New bracelets for Jillian
 Kennedy's reaction....they were so excited!

 More fun gifts!

 Jillian was excited too!
 Art set!
Little Josie got a really cool tunnel!!!

She also got a cleaning cart!
Jillian was helping her learn to clean.

 Josie loves push toys!
Chase and Andra monogrammed their initials on mugs!
Jillian was struggling with a cold and had been on steroids for a few days. She wasn't reacting very well to the medicine and was really not herself.
Dar and Tony took her back to the doctor to see if she could get off the steroid.

It was a yes! She was back to herself in a couple of days!
Snuggling with baby sister (And watching Elmo)
 Playing on their tablets
Dar and I took the girls to spend their gift cards at the American Girl store.
Ummmm...this was Jillian's mood the whole time. (Due to the medicine!)
The twins each got a Wellie wisher doll
 Loving on Aunt Dar
Jillian wasn't in the mood to go anywhere, so Dar took the big girls to get their toes done. :)
 And shopping!
After Josie (who was also sick with a cold and not in a good mood either!) went to bed, we played a game of "5 second rule". So fun!
 Playing the game!
Tea party time is always fun with big sisters!
We had a great visit....although, with 2 sick kiddos, it was a quite eventful. Hopefully we didn't scare them away and they will come back soon!!! :)
