Springtown trip part 1

Last week we made a trip to Springtown to visit Tony's family. This is always such an exciting time for the girls! They LOVE visiting Papa and YaYa and Dar and Lee!  This time, we met them half way and the girls and I went with Bobby and Tami, while Tony drove to Kyle, TX where he was officiating a wedding. His first! After the wedding festivities, he drove on to Springtown to be with us. It worked out great!
We arrived on Friday around 3:00 spent time unpacking and looking around their brand new house!
For dinner, Tami fixed a Japanese style entree and then had the girls sit on pillows with a low table and eat with chopsticks! They LOVED it! She even put on music that fit the theme!
Most of us ended up using forks, but it was fun to try! She had fortune cookies for dessert! :)
After dinner, everyone went onto the patio and had popsicles and Josie swam in her little pool. She had so much fun!
Since Josie didn't get a nap that day, we put her to bed and the big girls got to stay up and have some more fun! First up: The cow car! PaPa has this cute pink and white truck that the girls got to sit in with their pink boas! So fancy!
PaPa drove the girls down their super long driveway and back...they had a blast!
Next, they fed the cows. Jillian especially loved this part.

After the car ride and cow feeding, the girls started a movie and got settled for the night. They each got to sleep on a blow up mattress together in the living room. Fun!

The next morning was shopping day! Before we left to go birthday shopping, Josie got to open her presents from PaPa and YaYa!

She got an ice cream cart, new book, wings and some cute clothes! :)

Soon, it was time for shopping....but YaYa had a big surprise for the girls! They were going to go shopping in a LIMO!!  They were soooooo surprised and excited.
How fun!!!
First stop: Justice (Jillian's choice for birthday shopping)
While Jillian and the girls were shopping, Josie entertained herself with mirrors. :)
Success!!
The limo picked us up and then we went to lunch.
After a yummy lunch, the limo drove us to Target (Kaitlyn and Kennedy's choice for shopping)
Josie had some birthday money to spend too so she bought a doll stroller and Daniel Tiger.
The twins bought stuff to redecorate their room!
After shopping the girls were soooo tired!!!
Jillian also got this doll from Target....she loved her loooong hair!
After shopping, the girls got to help YaYa bake for the big birthday party that was the next day.
Josie had fun playing with her new toy.
PaPa pretended to eat all the ice cream (by putting them down his shirt!)
Kennedy helping YaYa
Ta da!
Josie loved cuddling up with PaPa in his big chair.
That evening the girls rode in the cow car again...this time Josie got to ride!
After the cow car, PaPa took the girls to the tank to see the cows.
After a yummy dinner, they had popsicles on the porch again.
What a super fun day!!!!!

Birthday party with friends

Back in May, the girls and I planned to have a combined party for Jillian and Kennedy and Kaitlyn's birthday with friends. We decided the community pool would be perfect to invite lots of friends and have a great time! Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate and we had to cancel the pool and move the party to our house. We had 15 girls in our living room, but we had a great time!
Early celebration for the twins' 12th b-day.
 She's 9!
All my sweeties! (Josie is having her party on her birthday coming up in July!)
We planned lots of fun games with candy and prizes!
Two tables ready for all the girls!
Here are all of Kaitlyn's and Kennedy's sweet friends
Jillian's friends seemed to ALL be out of town....she was so disappointed. She was happy that these sweet girls could come though. Jillian's friend, Kennedy, had a cousin staying with her, so she came to have fun too!)
The first game we played was a little like "Chinese gift exchange"....lots of stealing candy, trading candy and fun! Each girl ended with a large candy box or bar.
The next game was so funny! The girls got in small groups and had to unwrap their "fruit by the foot" (fruit roll up) and try to eat it without using their hands! It looked like they had long lizard tongues. Ha!

Another game we played was marshmallow toss!
We also played emoji Bingo, which the girls LOVED.
After the games it was pizza time!!!

After pizza we had brownies and ice cream and we sang to each girl.
Happy 12th b-day!
 Happy 9th b-day!
This little girl had way too much sugar during this party....the "perks" of being the little sister and 4th child! Ha!
After pizza and dessert was present time! Kaitlyn and Kennedy went first.
 Then it was Jillian's turn.
Overall, it was a blast! They loved seeing their friends and everyone had a great time. :) :) :)

15th Anniversary, Tony's b-day and Father's day

As always, our anniversary, Tony's birthday and Father's Day all fall at the same time!  On Thursday, the 14th of June, we celebrated our 15th anniversary! Tony and the girls have summer camp so they were gone the whole day, but that evening Tony and I decided to stay in and rent The Greatest Showman. We hadn't seen it and just had a relaxing evening at home. He also brought me these beautiful flowers! :)
We decided to celebrate our anniversary on Saturday when we had more time.  For lunch we ate at Pappasitos and then used our gift certificate from Christmas to get 1 1/2 hr massages! Ahhhh. So nice! I didn't get any pictures of our anniversary date though.

For Tony's birthday, he was working summer camp again and he had a little guy get together that night at Torchy's Tacos for a birthday dinner. He enjoyed getting out and catching up with friends.
This little girl decided to cut off 6-7 inches off her hair that weekend too! She loves it and it's so much more manageable.

Father's day was that Sunday. I got the girls matching shirts that say "My dad is...smart, strong, funny and 100% keeping it real.  Of course, Tony's shirt says it all. :)
Happy "everything", Tony! We all love you!!!!
