Snow!!!

We couldn't believe it, but early in December it snowed!!! It began snowing around 10pm and we got the girls out of bed so they could experience it! It was so funny!!  They loved being outside and watching the snow fall....even if it mostly felt like rain. :)
Catching snowflakes!
It was sooo cold! I could barely stand to be outside.
It was dark outside so the best way to see the snow was near the street lights.
The kids had so much fun playing outside (so late too!)
The next morning we opened the back door and were so surprised that the snow had stuck!!
It was so pretty!
The girls wanted to play in the backyard before school for just a little while.
They were so thrilled!
 Morning pictures
Groups shots before school! Josie wasn't too sure about the snow...she didn't want to be put down. :)
The drive to school was so pretty. I snapped a few pictures of our school. So pretty!

Kennedy and her friend, Lauren, built a little snowman in the front of the school.  :)

Cute!
The teachers let the kids play outside before all the snow melted. It was pretty much all gone by noon. It was soo much fun!!

Visiting Santa!

After Thanksgiving, the girls were dying to put up our tree....so out it came! :)

The next day, we headed to see Santa! I was a bit unsure how Josie would do, but she surprised us all and LOVED Santa!
(This is a picture of the actual picture that we got that day) Turned out cute! :)
I know Christmas will be super fun this year having a little one around again!

Thanksgiving Day

On Thanksgiving day, we woke up and had a lazy morning at home watching the parade on tv.  Around 11 we headed to Grandma and Pa's for Thanksgiving lunch. The girls love to dress cute on special days.

 Mom fixed a great meal!
Chris, Jenn and Cooper were in Disney World, so they weren't there this year.
Watching the dog show after we ate!
Then it was time to decorate Grandma's tree!! The girls couldn't wait. Josie had fun too!
Josie was a tired baby girl by the end of our Thanksgiving day!
We went home around 2 and she had a great nap. :)
Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving trip part 3

On Tuesday we all went to the Children's museum in Ft. Worth.
Dar, Andra and Liam met us there too.
Walking in! How cool!
 Big dinosaur!
What a HUGE game of chess.
 And checkers!
They had 2 great toddler areas! One was Curious George town!
 Josie loved Curious George
 open, close, open close
Coloring time with Andra and Liam
The twin talked YaYa into going in the hurricane simulator with them. Soooo windy!
 Awwww! Holding hands. So sweet!
This was the entrance into the second toddler area (well...8 and under)
The grocery store was a hit! Jillian enjoyed it too.
 Snake!
These balls kept Josie busy for a long time!
Andra is expecting baby boy #2 on December 15!
 Dar and Tony
 Back to Curious George...hugs!
 Jo and Daddy
It was a beautiful day and they had a dinosaur dig outside.
The kids were able to play in the sand and "dig" for dino bones.
It was hard to tear the 2 year olds away from the sand, but once we mentioned lunch they managed to pull themselves away from it. :)
We went to McDonalds for lunch. We were all starving!
 Kaitlyn, Kennedy and YaYa
 Jilly and mommy
 Josie and Daddy
After lunch it was dessert time! Josie got ice cream. Big surprise. :)
She kept saying "Thank you, Mommy". "Thank you for my ice cream". It was so cute.
It was pretty late when we left McDonalds and it didn't take long and this little girl was OUT.

We went back to Bobby and Tami's house and played outside for the rest of the afternoon. Later that evening, Dar and Brenae came over for one more visit.
 Love this sweet girl!
Look who's up in a tree again! :)
We packed up and headed home Wednesday morning. The girls were all very sad to leave.
We stopped at Cracker Barrel to eat on the way home.
The food was great and the kids loved the fun shop.
Josie loved the rocking chair outside the restaurant.
It took us another long 7 hours to make it back home. We stopped a lot to stretch our legs. Tony got this cute shot of Josie at a gas station along the way. :)
It was such a fun trip, but at the same time, it was good to be home.
