17 months

 Josie is going to turn 17 months in a couple of days. We are having so much fun with her.
Here is what she is doing at 17 months:
*Taking 2 naps
*Bedtime: between 6:30 and 7:00
*Signing to communicate. She lets us know that she wants to eat, take a bath, go upstairs, watch Signing Time and if she wants her lovey, paci and doggy.  (That she sleeps with). She asks (with signs) to swing, go outside, drink, and if she wants more of something. It's amazing how much we can understand each other with not many spoken words.
* Words she speaks: dog, mama, dada, KK, duck, up, down, bubbles
*Sounds she makes: train, dog, monkey, frog, elephant, fish, horse, rooster, bird and more!
*Josie loves to dress up for church and loves to wear shoes!
*Still does not like new people...it takes her a bit to warm up
*Scared of the Roomba vaccuum cleaner
*Loves to eat and drink milk
*Signing time is still her favorite show! Although, she likes to watch the beginning of Thomas and also a little to Sesame Street
*Size 18 month clothes/size 6 shoe
*Stamps her feet (in a little dance like way) when she is not getting what she wants
*Adores her sisters. Jillian plays a game with her downstairs...they each take a car or walker (baby toys) and they "chase" each other back and forth down the hall. Josie could do this for hours and Jillian is so good to play this with her every day.
*Understands taking pictures....but only sits for a second and then wants to see the picture! :)
* Loves books, her baby doll, and stuffed animals
*Knows how to sit on her little car and move her legs to make it go!
I'm sure there is more that I'm forgetting, but she is changing so fast! Love our last little girl!

 The girls put the scarf, mittens and ear muffs on her! She loved it!

 Josie loves to go into her closet and pick out shoes for me to put on her. She chose these....they fit...almost. I couldn't zip them on on the sides! Boy were these fancy! :)
