Summer fun

Summer is in full swing! Playdates, swimming, parties and more!
 Swimming with Scotlyn and Payton

We drove to the Woodlands to visit my college friend, Laura and her husband Lance and their 2 kiddos. The kids swam and we had hamburgers/hot dogs for dinner. So fun!

Jillian had just received her mermaid tale that morning (a birthday present she had ordered with her gift card). She was thrilled to show it off!
Little one would not touch the water. She just held on to Big Bird and Abby and had fun petting and watching their little puppy.

 Cute little puppy! :)

Jillian was invited to a birthday party at sweet and sassy. Lots of pampering going on!

At the end of June, the twins invited Hope and Scotlyn over for a playdate.
First up: Swimming! We wanted Josie to TRY to go in the pool, but she was already not happy about getting on her swimsuit. Silly girl!
First we tried letting her walk in the water. Nope.
So Tony just decided to take her in with him.
 A smile!!!!!!  I was thrilled!!
But it only lasted about 30 seconds....then tears. Lots of tears.
 Jillian tried to entertain her...
And the girls tried coaxing her.... :)
Jillian tried too! I believe Josie is saying "STOP" here....
 Kaitlyn and Scotlyn
 Kennedy and Hope
Josie was much happier just lounging and playing with the weighted swim toys
Then she got brave and started throwing them in the pool so Jilly and daddy could get them. She liked this game. :)

There has also been a lot of hair practicing around here. Kennedy has been trying out different styles and teaching me too!
Kennedy did dutch braids on Jilly the other day.

I did a fish tail on Kennedy and Jilly. (Kennedy is actually a lot better than me at this!)
Their good friend, Ryan got to stay the night one evening. The next day we went to Barnes and Noble to look around and get their free book for summer reading.

Josie found all the "Goodnight Moon" books in the store. :)

 She loves this book!
We ate at Chick Fil A for lunch and the girls had such a great time together.

And this is just pure sweetness. :) Love my girls and love the summer!
