For New Year's Eve, Dar and Lee were here and also our friends Deryk and Tiffany and their family came down from Dallas to celebrate too! We had a full house!

Once our friends arrived the kids had fun playing together. The picture below shows Eli and Josie playing together. Deryk and Tiffany were missionaries in China for a couple of years and while they were over there they adopted Eli. He was 7 when they adopted him. He is also deaf, so they had to learn ASL and Eli had to learn sign language too. It's been a hard journey for them, but Eli enjoyed being around Tony and being able to communicate with our family. :)

We all went outside to watch the fireworks from our neighbors at midnight. (I'm surprised I made it until midnight!)
