The end of April and the beginning of May have been so very busy! There is so much to catch up on!
Jillian is taking hip hop/jazz now every Thursday! She is doing such a great job and really enjoying it. Her dance recital is soon!
Our school had a Fine Arts festival at the end of April. It was fun for the kids! There was face painting, ice cream, hula hoop contests and even characters from the school play there!
The twins were invited to a birthday party for a good friend.....and it was the Newsboys concert!!! (Parents were invited too) This was Kennedy and Kaitlyn's first concert and they loved it!!! The concert was so much fun.
Jillian got to celebrate her birthday at school! She wanted cookie cake again this year! :)
Jillian loved having confetti /glitter dropped on her! She wanted to keep it in her hair overnight! Lol!
At the beginning of May, Kaitlyn and Kennedy had their spring band concert. They have worked so hard this year and they did a great job! At the end of the concert, the band director handed out awards. Kaitlyn got a medal for "Outstanding student" and Kennedy got a trophy for "Director's Award"...the highest honor. So proud of my girls!
Showing off their awards!
We celebrated Mother's day for Grandma by going to a nearby Mexican restaurant. After dinner, we went back to Grandma's house for dessert and gifts.
On Sunday (Mother's Day) the girls were so sweet and made my breakfast and gave me a lot of homemade gifts. We went to church that morning and I got some sweet pictures with my girls.
Mother's Day weekend was hard for Jillian though...her sweet hamster, Skittles, that she got for Christmas, unexpectedly died. Jillian was heart-broken. She was able to get a new hamster the next day at the pet store and she found a cute black and white one.....Oreo!
She decided to take Oreo for pet day at school. :)
Jillian and her sweet friends
The middle school had their award ceremony and both of the girls got an award for straight A's all year!

Kaitlyn got an award for Outstanding Bible student.

The rest of May is full of more awards, recitals and fun! More posts soon!
