Snow!

 A snowstorm hit the day after Valentine's day and lasted all week. It was a crazy week with no power, no water and freezing temps down to 12 degrees!!

Monday morning...no power. Eating by flashlight!

The girls were DYING to see the snow so we allowed them to be outside for a very short period of time. (Since it was cold inside the house too!)

Josie lasted about 3 minutes. We made Jillian come in!

Miss Trixie liked the snow, but didn't want to stay out very long.

These 2 went out for 5 minutes total....the whole week. Ha! Not fans of the cold.

It got too cold in the house and so we headed to Grandma and Pa's for the day/night.

This girl went back out and built a tiny snowman.

Poor lizards....we had to cart them back and forth because they needed heat.

Grandma and Pa's power went off and ours came back...so we loaded up and headed back home. 

We watched lots of movies cuddled with the pups and blankets.

We also played lots of games.

Again, our power went out and so we headed back to Grandma and Pa's house for another day/night. 

(We tried to make the best of the power outage with warm clothes and board games, but it was just too cold!!)

The next day, we went BACK home (power was on, but we had a boil water notice). Jill and Jo went outside the play a little more.

Finally on Thursday, our power came back on and stayed on. We had freezing temps through Friday night and school was cancelled all week. What a crazy week!! So thankful our pipes didn't burst! Still waiting for our boil water order to be lifted!
