May has already been a super busy month and it's not even half way over yet. Jillian had "Character Day" at school and she chose to dress as Fancy Nancy. This fits her personality so well. She loved wearing all the jewelry and getting all "fancy".
The 1st grade had a character parade through the school. Mrs. Gaitan (Jillian's teacher) was one of the 5 little monkeys jumping on the bed. :)

There have been a lot of birthday parties this month already as well. Kaitlyn and Kennedy had a late night party at their friend, Scotlyn's house. Swimming, hamburgers, movies and fun!
Kennedy and Kaitlyn both were selected to compete in the speech meet this year. They worked very hard to memorize their speeches! They both got a "superior" rating! Woo hoo!!

The twins also celebrated their summer birthday in their class. They chose bundt cakes from Nothing bundt cakes. Tony and I were both able to be there. I started in Kennedy's room and Tony started in Kaitlyn's. Then we switched. :) Tony had to bring his class over and he had them sign the Happy Birthday song. I think he embarrassed them quite well.
The weather has been so nice and we have been playing outside a lot. We have new neighbors and they have a little boy who is 4 (almost 5) and a new baby girl on the way. He has a cute little car (power) and Josie took a ride in it. It was so cute!

Josie wanted to try driving, but she didn't understand about pushing the pedal. Kennedy and Jillian tried to help, but it didn't work so well. She liked steering though!
The new neighbors have a baby turtle too! He is going to grow to be over 100 lbs! Wow!
She played hard outside and has blue chalk on her nose. :) Too cute!
