4th grade tea, parties and more

At FBCA, 4th grade is the end of elementary school. Since they are the leaders, they get a lot more privileges during the year. One of those is the 4th grade tea. It's set up in the library one day during school and they discuss leadership qualities and manners. The girls had sooo much fun!

 Kaitlyn
 Kennedy liked the hot tea.
She was able to sit with her sweet friend, Scotlyn. They are in different classes this year so I know that she misses her.
 Praying together

Jillian was invited to her good friend Marie's party at the roller skating rink. She had a blast.

Playhouse

One of our friends was giving away this cute little playhouse. We got it for Josie, but I think ALL the girls were super excited to play. :)   We set it up on the back porch. The weather has gotten a bit cooler and I know the girls will have fun playing together.

Jr Cheer clinic and Secret Keeper girls

Earlier this month the girls got to go to the FBCA Jr Cheer clinic. They had practice after school and then they got to cheer at the football game.
Having fun posing before the game

Here are some of the girls that cheered that night...I think I only got Jillian in the picture (and maybe half of Kennedy off to the left!)
 Sydnee M and Jillian

The twins and I got tickets to go to Secret Keeper girls! We had a lot of fun.
 The stage before it started
Kaitlyn got crazy purple hair (It was the Purple Party tour) and Kennedy chose a book.

A bit fuzzy, but cute of us!

Of couse...this cutie is keeping us on our toes! She is growing up fast.

I will do a 15 month update on her next month. She is doing so much these days!

Labor day weekend

Last weekend, the big girls got to spend the weekend with Aunt Dar and Uncle Lee in Springtown. After school on Friday, Tony drove them half way and met Dar and Lee for dinner. Then they drove them the rest of the way home. They had such a blast!!

Road Trip!!! (Jillian is watching the DVD player!)
 Seeing Aunt Dar
 Eating dinner at Dairy Queen
After dinner, Tony came back home and the girls went with Aunt Dar and Uncle Lee.
 Excited girls!!!
 And sleepy ones too!
They arrived in Springtown late, but wanted to stop and see Nic and Brenae.
And stick their feet in the pool.....they were very excited to swim the next day!
 Day 2 began with.....swimming!

They also had a very big surprise planned.  Their YaYa's birthday was last month and they wanted to surprise her!! I think they were successful!!
 Surprise!!!!
 Birthday party for YaYa!
 Fun times!!
The girls loved playing with and holding Liam. He is only 4 days older than Josie.

Later that evening, the kids went to a party with Dar for some of her friends. Pictures first!
 Cheese!
Shaylee was able to come too! They miss her!

The next few pics are of the party...the girls stuck together. :)

The next day after church, everyone came back over to Dar's for lunch and swimming! Yea!

What big day! They also made cookies, did crafts and Dar took them shopping!!

Monday morning they all met Papa and YaYa at the Donut shop for breakfast.

One last stop before heading back to Houston.... They stopped to say bye to Chase, Andra and Liam.
This looks like Chase and Andra's family picture! Ha!

Meanwhile, back at home, Tony and I were able to go out to eat (with our little sidekick) and enjoyed a very relaxing weekend with only 1 child!!!
Josie enjoying her mac and cheese at the local mexican food restaurant. She hasn't quite figured out that she is missing out on some yummy food.

The girls arrived home Monday, tired but happy! They had such a wonderful time. Next trip will be the whole family!! Can't wait.
