Father's Day

The day after his birthday was Father's Day! (Tony celebrated 3 things in a row!)
My camera ended up on the wrong setting for some reason, so my Father's Day pics are blurry. :(
I chose the ones that were the least blurry. (sigh)

 Tony and his girls

My dad and his grand kids
We ate a big lunch at my parents house and the guys opened their gifts...then we left and headed back home ( we had been gone since Friday, so it felt good to be home)

 Tony opened more presents!
Jillian showed him the card she made him.

 Kennedy's turn

Kaitlyn showing Tony her sweet card she made him.

We relaxed the rest of the day and Tony managed to get a good nap in!
We had SUCH a fun weekend!!

Next up: Tony's 40th birthday party coming up this weekend!!

Happy Birthday, Tony!!

The next day, June 15, was Tony's 40th birthday! Talk about a FUN weekend! I wanted this day to be all about him.  We slept in (ahhhh)  and before we left, he opened his gifts from me.
First stop: Galleria

A picture with the birthday boy

After some shopping, we ate some lunch at the food court. He decided he wanted a bigger meal for dinner, so we ate light for lunch.

Except, he wanted Marble Slab after lunch!!

So, of course, we got some and enjoyed every bite.

After some more shopping we headed to the IMAX to see Man of Steel.

 Before the show

We had to get one in front of the sign too!
The movie was good....definitely more of a "guy" show in my opinion, but I was happy to watch it with him .

When the movie got out, it was dinnertime. He chose Chuy's for dinner. So good!

 Birthday dinner!

Annnnd....more dessert!!
The whole meal was great and I think Tony had a great day!!!
Happy birthday to my love!!!

10 years!

On June 14, we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary!  Here are a couple of pics from our wedding day.  It's crazy, but we don't have digital pictures from our wedding...just the old fashioned photos. (So, I just took a picture of the pictures...didn't have time to scan them)
It's amazing how much technology has changed in 10 years.

 So young!!

For our anniversary, Tony planned for us to stay at the Omni hotel in Houston for 2 nights.  My parents took care of the kids (thank you!) for us.

Woo hoo! Excited to start our get-away!

Awww...Tony had arranged for rose petals to be in the room. So sweet.

We decided to exchange gifts before dinner and he SHOCKED me by giving me a brand new ring!  I love it!!

 So pretty and so surprised!

We changed and got ready for dinner and  stopped to take a quick picture. I was determined to take a lot of pictures of us since it's usually the kids that we take pictures of.

At Fogo de Chao for dinner

 First course....salad

Next...meat!! If you have never been there before, they bring out lots and lots of meat! You can tell them to stop whenever you want to....and then you can start again.

Last...a very yummy 10th anniversary dessert.
Seriously, one of the best cakes I have ever eaten!

One more quick picture before we left.
The next day was Tony's birthday, so the fun continued!!
I'm so thankful for Tony and for our marriage. I love him more every day!!

Happy Birthday Jillian!!!!

Happy Birthday to my little Jilly Bean!
She requested cinnamon rolls for breakfast and we decided to light some candles for her!  Everything is more fun when you can blow out candles!

Singing "Happy Birthday" to her

Blowing out the candles

After breakfast, we gave Jillian her birthday gift from us...a new bike!!

She was excited about it and got on it right away and rode around the house! :)

Stopping for a quick picture...then she was off again!

Her sisters were so happy for her....it's so sweet.

Later that day,  she opened some more presents from Grandma and Pa.

Cooper was an eager onlooker!

Mommy and Jillian

After our meal, the waiters came out and sang to her! She loved it but got a little shy. (Sorry for the picture quality)
At first she had a huge smile! :)

Getting a little more shy...

I guess the singing was a little too loud...she stayed this way throughout the song.

But she was ready to blow out her candle!

Proud girl

Yum!

Below is a video of the whole thing. :)

After dessert, they got balloons!
Jilly got a birthday hat

Kaitlyn got a butterfly

Jillian's 4th birthday party

This year, Jillian asked to have a Dora birthday party. She was positive about this decision...no changing her mind. Funny thing is, she likes Dora, but she is much more into My Little Pony these days. Nevertheless, we had a Dora party! We blew up swimming pools in the backyard and borrowed a water slide from our friends.  We invited a lot of friends from church, but most of them were out of town. That's a summer birthday for you.  :)

 My pretty party girl

 Sassy girl!
She got a Dora outfit from Grandma just for her party.

I decided to get a few pictures before her party started when she was all cute and dry. I knew most of her party pics would be of her in a swimsuit. :)

They quickly changed into their swimsuits and were ready for the party to begin!!

 Decorations!

 Ready for swimming!

 Kaitlyn, Kennedy

Jillian was excited 2 of her little friends from church came. (Lily and Bliss)

After a little bit of swimming, we could tell all the kids were hungry. Back inside for lunch. We did a picnic style lunch. Sandwiches, chips, cheese and crackers, Dora yogurt, fruit and more!  We knew the kids would want to play outside again after lunch, so they stayed in their swimsuits.

The Fox family came right after I snapped this picture.

.....and Kade!

After their lunch, they decorated their goody bags! (Kennedy and Ryan)

Desserts! Yum!  Jillian specifically requested chocolate covered strawberries and ice cream. (We had LOTS of ice cream...just didn't have it out of the freezer yet for the picture)

Sweet girl ready to blow out her 4 year old candle!

After dessert the kids got back in the water!  They had sooo much fun and lots more energy after eating.

Tony started to refill the pools but it turned into "lets spray the kids!"

The whole crew (minus baby Colin and baby Baron)

Look at all the kids!

After playing and playing, it started to thunder so we went inside and everyone dried off and changed clothes

 My pretty girls.
Jillian was anxious to open her presents!

Kaitlyn bought Jillian "Princess Luna" from My Little Pony with her own money. So special.  She was so excited to give it to her.

Kennedy did the same thing. She bought her Pinkie Pie

Princess dress from Grandma and Pa

Dora leap pad game from Cooper!

She had a lot of eager onlookers!!

Monday, June 10th is her actual birthday.  She will be getting a few more presents.
We all had a great time and I know all three girls will sleep extra hard tonight!!
Love my Jillian!
