The girls loved their playground. They kept calling it "the park"! They played on it for a solid hour last night! Even Scooter liked it! :) Kaitlyn starting climbing and sliding right away. Kennedy is more cautious so it took her a little longer to feel confident. After she practiced climbing up and sliding down she was a pro and did it over and over again! It was so much fun to see them so excited.
I love Craigslist! I look almost everyday for different things, but I have only bought 2 things. One thing was a play kitchen for the girl's b-day. I bought the Step 2 Deluxe Kitchen. With shipping and tax it would have cost us 280.00!!!! I found it on craigslist for 80 bucks!! It was in perfect condition and only 2 years old. I'm sooo excited to give it to them. The other thing we bought was just yesterday...it's a Little tikes playground! We saved almost 300.00 by buying it used!! I'm so excited! Check it out!!
Today we went to the children's museum...the one they opened in Sugar Land for a month or so. The girls and Emma had a great time! They got to explore so many things. I think their favorite part was the dishes and play food! We are getting them a play kitchen/food for their birthday so it looks like it will be a hit!
Kennedy and Kaitlyn couldn't have a better daddy !! This year, Tony's birthday fell on Father's day. We love you!!!!! Happy Birthday and Happy "daddy's" day!!
Tony and I celebrated 5 years today!!! We went out last night to the Taste of TX and had a wonderful meal! After that we went to Comedy Sportz Houston. Our friends Chris and Janelle gave us a gift card for Christmas and we figured this would be a good time to use it! It's an improv. comedy club that is totally family friendly! It was very clean and there were even kids in the audience. It was soooooo good! We laughed so much. Kennedy and Kaitlyn spent the night with their grandma and pa last night so we got to sleep in this morning!!! Oh my goodness!! That was wonderful. I got to sleep in for the first time in 23 months!!
It's been a wonderful 5 years! Happy anniversary baby!
Tony received the honor of becoming a deacon at our church!! Here he is all dressed up and with a couple of the people that were there to support him! We are so proud of him. Doesn't he look handsome?
Well, we are still trying the baby pool in the backyard. Kennedy will get in it, but Kailtyn won't. However, they will play in the sprinkler if we keep it low.
We got the girls new sunglasses (hope they won't break them this time!) I think they look like little bugs! (and check out those cheesy smiles!)

Today we tried the BIG neighborhood pool. We brought their little blow up bloats that they can sit in....
nope...screamed and cried again. Clung to me for dear life. Kennedy would gladly sit in her boat on the concrete though. I should have brought my camera with me to get that pic...
Oh well. We will keep trying. They did look super cute in their swimsuits though. :)
The girls continue to surprise me. A few days ago, Tony turned on the sprinker for them to run through....we thought it would be fun. Nooooooo. The moment they got wet they screamed and cried! They were terrified of the water!
So, we tried another idea. I don't have a sand/water table, so instead I filled up a big tub (that you use to store things in) with water and gave them cups, toys etc. That was a big hit! Kailtyn loves it the most! She will stand in front of that tub and play for hours! Kennedy likes it too, but the moment the water splashes on her she runs to me crying. We have tried this for about 3 days now, and slowly they are getting used to being wet! (Kaitlyn will get soaked and not care a bit) I was planning on breaking out their little swimming pool soon..who knows how that will go. I will keep you posted.
Kaitlyn sat right down on the mat in the kitchen and decided to pose for me. Scooter too.
She continues to amaze us with how many funny faces she can make...these are just a few.
Tony did great on Mother's day! He bought me roses, 4 books I have been wanting (on parenting etc), perfume and a spa day!!!! I'm so blessed! I have the best husband ever!
We got a new sandbox this weekend....Kaitlyn and Kennedy LOVE it.
I can't believe they are turning 22 months on Wed!
