Valentines Day!

The girls celebrated their first Valentines Day! Grandma and Grandpa brought the girls cards, a balloon, and diapers(thanks Grandma)! We dressed them in their red outfits and had a great day.

Sometimes the best toys are the boxes they come in!

SITTING UP!!

This past Monday, both Kennedy and Kaitlyn (always on the same day it seems) sat up by themselves for the first time!!! Kaitlyn loves to sit up now and she is quite good. Kennedy is good too, but if she finds out you are sitting behind her, she would rather lean back on you and just chill out! :)

Lastest stats

We went to the dr. yesterday and the girls are VERY close in size.
Kennedy is 14 lbs 12 oz and 25 in. long
Kaitlyn is 14 lbs 9 oz and 25 in long.
Only a 3 oz difference.
They are both in the 25th percentile for height and weight.

Their temp. and head measurements were the same too!
They got 5 shots and an oral vacc. (poor babies)

The dr. said he could see 2 little teeth on both of them under the skin....looks like it won't be too much longer and we'll have teeth! :)

Just wanted to give you an update.

6 months

The girls are now 6 months old. Where has the time gone? I just wanted to post a few more pics. They are getting more and more fun every day. Enjoy!

Our first Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas! The girls got sooo many toys and they had a great day. We spent the morning with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Chris and Auntie Jenna and then we went back to our house and celebrated Christmas again with just us. We had so much fun. We are so blessed! Here are some pics of the girls and their toys (including a blow up duckie bathtub!)

High Chairs!

Kennedy and Kaitlyn have graduated to high chairs! They look so adorable sitting in those big chairs. They are now eating all kinds of food including peas, carrots, bananas, pears and squash! (baby food, of course).
They are growing fast.

Santa

We took the girls to see Santa today! They did great, but I don't think they quite knew what to think about it! :) We are excited that this is their first Christmas! Merry Christmas!

FIVE MONTHS AND SLEEEEEEPPP!!!!!!!!!

Oh my goodness! I cannot believe how awesome this weekend has been. We started our schedule with the Cry it out method. We were ready for hours and hours of screaming. We prayed and asked God to help us out before we put them down. We told the girls what we were doing and that we loved them. We put them in bed. They screamed for 30 minutes. Then woke up at 2:30. THey cried for 10 minutes and then woke up at 7:30.

A wonderful first night!
Night 2: Went down at 7:30, cried for 5 minutes, woke up at 6:30 AM!!!!!!!
Amazing!

Christmas pictures

We had a friend come over and take our Christmas pictures yesterday. We wanted to get a head start on our Christmas cards. They turned out great. (she took about 200!) Here are a few.

Feeding time!

The girls got a taste of their first rice cereal. They did great and now they LOVE it and can't wait for the next bite! They are growing up so fast!

4 months old

Kennedy and Kaitlyn were 4 months old as of Nov. 7. We went to the dr to get their 4 month check up and we found out their new measurements. Kennedy is now 13 lbs 2 oz and 23 1/2 inches long. Kaitlyn is 12 lbs 4 oz and 23 inches long. They are growing and talking and so much fun!
